Hi, we have 4 cats.. 3 adult and 1 Kitten (Albie) who is approx 19 weeks old. We give all cats dry food during the day and Albie kitten biscuits but at night when felt their main meal all together Albie will not stop eating until all bowls are clean which is giving him diarrhea. He has been wormed, his energy levels are normal and so is his weight.

Kittens just eat a lot of food because they are rapidly growing and need all that food :) Kind of like bottomless pit teenagers. Kittens should be free fed as much food as they will eat. They can't get fat from eating all that food. Most people leave a bowl of kitten food out all day and provide a few small canned food meals. Because you have adult cats as well, you can leave a bowl of "all life stages" dry food out for the all the cats. The package of dry food has a teeny tiny statement on the label (usually near the ingredient list) that indicates if the food is for adults, for seniors, or for all life stages.

Talk to the vet about the diarrhea. Sometimes food that is too rich or doesn't agree with the tummy will cause diarrhea. You may need to feed the kitten his own kitten specific food separately from the adults to keep the diarrhea in check.
