Your kitten is clearly getting plenty of formula because she already weighs more than the minimum of 12 ounces at 3 weeks, so she is doing well!

She is much too young to start on mushy wet food yet. She still needs formula only for at least 2 more weeks. Kittens begin to try wet food at 5-6 weeks and only if they are ready.

As far as pooping goes, begin adding 2-3 drops of olive oil to each feeding and this should bring on a poop soon. If it does not, you can shave a tiny piece from an infant glycerin suppository and insert it. This will usually bring on a poop within 20 minutes.

Keep us posted!

Begin the olive oil at the next feeding and each feeding thereafter.
