... on his way to become a full fledged house cat.
He doesn’t have a name yet, I’m working on that. We call him sir cat for now.
I fell in love with this little one’s personality, he’s very social, gentle and afraid of absolutely nothing (except maybe his dad). His parents are barn cats, and their owners wanted to give away their two kittens born in March, since it looked like Mama cat is about to have another litter.
His owner really wanted me to bring both kittens home, but I could only afford one and had to say no.
He really surprised us when he came home and explored the entire house eagerly and settled in right away.
We were reluctant to let him outside at first, incase he bolted. so I had him on a harness in a tentative first outdoors attempt. Again he surprised us by following us like a puppy, so we dropped the harness. He would go off exploring a little then come running to catch up to us as we walked. He also travels well in the car, and loves to visit my friends’ pets, I now bring him everywhere!
He’a getting neutered on Wednesday, I’m nervous and worried there might be complications, but understand that it has to be done. so fingers crossed....
I’m still doing a lot of research on how to give him the best care possible, which was why I signed up for this forum. I’m already reading all the resources available on here and all the articles has been super helpful!
I’m not much of a writer, so please forgive the shoddy introduction. I just wanted to say hi and thanks for having me here
