Kitten Biting (nipping) At Random.

Hello, I just adopted my kitten 2 weeks ago he’s nearly four month old. Sometimes he randomly comes up to me and lays by my arm (when I’m on the ground) and tries to nip at my arm. I don’t over stimule him by petting (I don’t even look at him) yet he bites. These nibbles are not strong enough to draw blood but I’m just curious why this is happening and if someone else is experiencing or has experienced this behaviour. Maybe he’s feeling that he needs some attention. Thanks!
