I just moved the other day and I feel like my cat is forgetting to eat? I leave out dry food for him and put his wet food out too, and he barely touched it. BUT, he’s not refusing to eat because if I pull any of his treats out... his dry treats or his wet treats... he scarfs it down, no problem. If I take his bowl of wet food or dry food and put it in his face he will eat it, but it’s almost like ever since we moved... he’s forgetting to eat on his own. Is this normal because of the new surrounding we’re in? Will he remember to eat on his own soon?

He might just be stressed out from the move and being in unfamiliar surroundings. Cats usually do best when they're in a new environment if they're introduced to one room at a time. You could also plug in some Feliway diffusers to help him relax more.

Just what I was thinking. I believe that this will fix itself as your cat becomes more confident in his new surroundings.
