It is rude- no excuses, just plain inconsiderate and lazy. Sure it's not the most fun task to have to do, but for crying out loud it's not that hard and it's part of the process. Unfortunately that seems to be the norm these days. I have a friend who works in a large corporation here and she interviewed for another position recently. It's their policy for HR to contact people to let them know they didn't get the job, and yet she still hasn't heard from them, despite calling them herself (she knows from someone else that they got the job). It certainly doesn't leave you with a good impression of them anyway.Well I think its safe to say I didnt get it....its annoying that he couldnt pick up the phone to ring to say I hadnt when he had said he would let me know either way
