that I've been thinking about for a while. Since I love ALL cats, and I only work 4 days a week, I have decided to start volunteering at a local no-kill cat shelter. I go in next Monday to look around and talk with the director. Now, I'm a little nervous, but very excited. I don't know what to expect or what this is going to involve. I just picture myself sitting in a sunny room, playing and loving on a multitude of cats!!! Of course, I know it's not going to be totally like that. A lot of you have motivated me to do this. I read all that you do for your cats and other cats that need help. I can't foster because Bella wold evict me and there aren't any feral colonies that I can find around here. So this is the way I am going to try and help. If anyone can give me any suggestions or clues on what to expect based on your experiences, I would appreciate it tremendously!!! My only concern really is that I get terribly attached to these precious furballs. My heart is so soft for cats.
