Yea for June.

I have a question. When you shelter a cat what happens if no one adopts them?
Also who pays for the food and vet bills?

When no one adopts a cat and they are there for a while, the shelter depends mainly on donations and a little bit they get from the city. That is why you see so many fundraisers. When ours gets too crowed they offer 'two for the price of one' and something I hate.....discounts for farmers. I really pray for housecats that have to survive coyotes and the dangers of a farm, that is why farmers need them often. The only consolation is that they are not euthanized. PSour shelter director REALLY cares for cats, she does all she can to place them in good homes, but sometimes it is just impossible. I ahev seen cats that are theer over 6 months, it is so sad.....
