Is this suture closed and normal?

My cat just got spayed today and I wasnt sure what a normal suture looks like. It looks like it isn't fully closed for some reason but it could just be the dried blood? I emailed the vet but they are closed - just want to make sure nothing serious can happen tonight.

Thanks.

I already did. They're closed now but hopefully all is OK.

The black thing might be a suture. Hopefully the vet can say for sure. When my two got spayed last month, they only got internal sutures and surgical glue so not sure what external sutures are supposed to look like.

Looks fairly normal, although the gap looks slightly larger than usual. When they do the hidden suture technique (seems to be what all the newer vets are doing), it causes the skin to wrinkle up so it looks like there are gaps but it's really just the way the skin wrinkled. So I'm pretty sure it's fine, but getting the vet's advice is always a good idea :).

Thank you all. The vet said it looks good to her, so I'm just going to watch it for any signs of infection and keep my baby in the cone she hates so much
