One of my cats is 10 years old I think and I noticed it takes him about 30-40sec to pee. wanted to know if that's normal because my other cats only take a good 10-15sec to go he doesn't seem to be straining or anything like that.

I can only suggest that you have that cat checked for a UTI or other urinary issue via a urinalysis and see if anything shows up.

Once he does pee, is it of normal amount/size? Is he going more often? Any litter/litter box changes around the time he started this? Some cats can act strangely with changes associated with their litter box(es), while their 'buddies' could care less.

My cat (19+ yo) has been 'lingering' and 'moving around' in the litter box before actually peeing, but the clumps are of normal size for her, the frequency is no different, and she just recently had a urinalysis done, so I need to 'write off' her behavior to some recently developed idiosyncrasy she has acquired. I do keep an eye on it to make sure nothing else changes.
