My 7 month old cat Callie got spayed 6 days ago, she didn’t get a cone but I didn’t have any trouble with her because she hasn’t been licking around the incision and just to be safe I made her a diy recovery suit which she manages to remove somehow. Anyway while I was eating yesterday my little sister left the door of my room opened and Mei my 2 month old kitten got inside while Callie was laying on her bed outside the cage without the suit and when I found them Mei was jumping on top of Callie and it seem that Callie didn’t mind at all but I got so scared took Mei outside and checked Callie’s incision which seemed to be fine but today that I checked it it looks like this and I’m trying to figure out if it’s infected or not, it looks really red and there’s a big lump. FYI those white things are the sutures not discharge.

It does look a little red but I dont see any infection. Can you send the photo to your vet and ask his advice, it will put your mind at rest.
