is my cat sick??

my cat, a 7 months old ragdoll has been feeling down lately.
last week he got sick and throw up whatever he ate and the vet told me to only give him wet food once a week (usually i gave him everyday) and told me to help him lose weight (6kg) they also gave him antibiotics, vitamin shot, and anti worm.

he is improving as time goes by but since 2 days ago, looks like he's feeling nauseous as he keep licking his lips and sometimes gagged, he also cough/sneeze several times at night only..

is my cat sick? what shpuld i do?

p.s. he still have big appetite though and still want to play in the morning but he spent the rest of the day and night sleeping

I would find another vet. Cat only hopefully. He does sound sick

I would get him rechecked as it sounds as if some problems are still plaguing him. If you can find a cat only vet (not cat friendly) that would be preferrable.

I would find a different vet. Also, feed him mainly wet food and cut back on dry food. It could be that he's intolerant of chicken or fish. Try feeding him turkey, duck, or venison.
