I had an appointment to get my 7 month old cat spayed when I found out she had been in contact with an intact male (he had traveled over 3 miles. I found his missing post on Facebook 😳)

the day before she was due to have her op, I took her for an ultrasound and they said she looked as though she is expecting kittens. I don’t think she has put on any weight. I have felt her abdomen and sometimes feel little lumps but wonder if this is just her food!
If she was pregnant she would be around 5 weeks.
her nipples don’t seam very big and stomach not really growing much. I have attached some pictures and hope someone can advise!
thanks

If the ultrasound showed a pregnancy, then she’s pregnant. Cats begin to show around the 5-week mark, so expect her to get bigger now.

She’ll have another 4-5 weeks to go, but expect kittens, and do not let her outside anymore until after she is spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old.

In the meantime, read up on our articles at the top of this forum for tips!
