Is my cat big for his age?

He is 7.5 months old and weighs 4kg. Is he big for a kitten or is this a healthy weight?

Kitten isn't gaining weight

No, 4 kg isn't too heavy. For the first year or two you should just let him eat as much as he wants. Cats keep growing for the first two years or more, depending on their breed. He's going to be putting on muscle mass and building strong, dense bones. He needs plenty of nutrition, so 4 kg sounds healthy to me.

Yes it is the same kitty, thank you for your help. I am feeding him lots of food (mostly wet food or cooked chicken) he can eat as much dry food as he likes but I think he prefers wet food.
