Hi with a baby boy Chester who has now blocked twice in a space of 3 months, and had him unblocked, and is slowly on the mend, but we watch him very carefully.
On the weekend, he was doing small wee's and vocalized once during the night, which had us scared, but he seems normal again, playing eating all his food, and doing about 2 smallish wee's a day.
He is strictly on a veterinary prescribed wet food.
As you do when you are desperate, you do lots of research, and have seen many times where people say Diluted Apple cider vinegar can help with this problem and stop crystals forming in the bladder and recommend it.
We felt excited by this; however, we asked our Vet about this, and he told us it's not a good idea to use this as it would mess up his prescription food that he is on.
So, we feel confused, as it seems to be many saying it helps, so not sure what to do.
Another thing, is we have noticed recently around 4am Chester going downstairs crying, like to get outside, not sure, but at the same time our security camera picks up a black feral cat that visits our garden near our front door.
We wonder if this feral cat is causing stress to Chester, whilst Chester can't see him, but I guess can smell or know his presence.
Just a bit worried as stress causes this urinary problem.
