Indoor kitten with a crusty ear

Hello everyone! Ponyo is 5 months old and she’s an indoor cat. We’ve recently been letting her explore the basement so she’ll go down from for a little bit of time and come back upstairs.

I noticed her right ear is a little crusty and my brother said he noticed her scratching it. Any thoughts what could be going on?

Does she have mites? Could she be allergic to something?

Hm I mean I think it could have something to do with the basement. It is a bit dusty so I was thinking maybe an allergic reaction. When I got her she had ear mites but she’s been cleared by the vet
