I did not do as well as Hope!
But I still made out pretty good. It was 76 here today and I felt terrible because my DD has (HAD!) one short sleeved t-shirt... and it was in the laundry!
My friend and I try to go to the outlets near me twice a year to shop for our kids. We always get great deals at the Carter's and Osh Kosh outlet stores! So now DD and the new baby have quite a few nice new things to wear for Spring and into summer. DD is nearly set for summer. I also got them outfits in coordinating colors to wear for the new baby's newborn photos.
(Only 9 weeks to go!! Agh!)
I also picked up some things for myself from Motherhood. I had to. I was sweating like crazy in my own clothing today. My maternity jeans go over my belly, plus I had a cami on under my shirt. My DD was a winter baby; so most of my maternity stuff is either winter or dressy for work. Today's shirt was short sleeved and able to be dressed down with jeans; but man was I HOT! I also got a dress to wear for my maternity photos in a few weeks!
And then we had to get to the Crocs outlet. DH has worn his down big time in the heel. And has duct tape holding one part together. (For the record, I can't stand adult crocs for their looks. I have some I wear for in the garden or back yard. But DH is only allowed to wear his around the house or yard. Style wise I think I dislike them almost as much as uggs....) DD also got a new pair since she has nearly outgrown her old ones. She LOVES her crocs. And I do think they are cute on kids! She was super excited when she saw all the crocs in that store!
I came home exhausted but happy. DH said we are going to have well dressed children.
That and "good thing I worked today to pay for all that!" Yep it is a good thing.... But I think I should point out all the sales I hit (nearly every single item but HIS crocs!) and the additional stuff I got off on top of that. Hehe
Oh; and beside all that shopping... I got to spend the day talking to another ADULT! That's like the hot fudge, whipped cream, AND cherry on top!
