I Need Help Please!

Hi,
My name is Paige and I have a cat Named Popcorn. He is 10 years old and is amazing! Till he started scratching at my wall and going into my curtain! He did this about 3 or 4 years ago then stopped then started again! Does anyone know what to do or why is he doing this!?

My guess would be that he has seen a bug of some sort in that area and he is trying to find it. Move everything aside to see what is there. If need be pin the curtains up so he can’t get at them.

Is it only in one area? Could he be hearing something in the walls? I have marks on one wall because when we moved in our fancy front door made irresistible lights on the walls whenever cars drove by at night. I put a sheer curtain on the door so that stopped. She has however knocked a votive candle holder off the wall in the bathroom several times and set off the security system when I had a tall media cabinet close to the motion sensor. That's why I wonder if there is something drawing him to a spot.

yeah my cats do that, mostly by the curtains over a window, probably a bug and if not, just looking for some fun.
