Oh my gosh.....what a dork am I???

I didnt know my daughter didnt have school today

We got there and went in the classroom and its all dark..walk around the other part of the school, its all dark....there was another little boy that got dropped off when my daughter and i were walking around. We ended up taking him home, and i called my SIL and she says "its teacher inservice day"

The odd thing is they have a automated calling service the night before if there is to be no school, and noone that i talked to recieved that call(as well as me,obviously lol)

Dont feel too bad, I have done the same thing.
My daughter was so happy to have another day off school, she forgave me making her get up early for nothing!!

They have "professional development days" here once a month, usually tacked on to a holiday to make the weekend extra-long. It's hard to keep up with all of them here, too, lol!
