I adopted a cat with FIV

I just adopted a really sweet orange cat named blondie.We literally got him second hand from someone who fed him when he was a stray,he has no owners and has been a stray for years.I took him to the vet and he has been diagnosed with FIV.Can anyone tell me what to expect and how to make his life happy and healthy?Outside of his vet appointments of course.He is also getting surgery to remove bad teeth this month.

Thank you so much!I work retail and talked to my fiance about his disease.We 100% want to keep him still.I'll be picking up a second job doing nighshift to support Blondie in case he gets sick.Thankfully fiance will be out of school with a higher income as a mechanic in a bit over a year which will help
