I know tea tree is deadly for cats. But my question is. If I use a cleanser on myself and my cat decides to step on me. Will it harm her? My skin would be obviously dry and it’s not 100% tea tree oil. There’s other ingredients and it’s last on the list.
There was a shampoo I had and I gave it away because of this concern. I didn’t want her to try and lick my hair or lay on it. And have it transfer to her. I feel like I’m being super paranoid. But I don’t want her to get sick. If any of this makes sense

As long as you rinse the cleaner off well and dry your skin, there's little risk to your cat. I would even go as far as to discourage the cat from licking the skin for an hour or so post-cleaning just in case.

Thank you for this! Just tossed my tea tree facial cleanser, which I hadn’t used much anyway! that stuff packs a wallop!
