I was amazed that they were saying that the southeast was getting 3-5 inches of rain, and this was causing huge problems.
Of course, I was also amazed when I was in Bakersfield and they were bragging on their storm sewer improvement made it possible for them to handle as much as 1/2 inch of rain in 24 hours.
The joke in this are is that we get 12 inches of rain in June, July, and August. Usually in two storms, lasting an hour for each one.
