I brought a new foster home today. There's still a possibility that her owner may be found so at this point she's an unofficial foster and hasn't yet been seen by a vet. She can't seem to get comfortable but she's not huge. I'd guess her to be around 6 or 7 weeks along. She is a purebred Siamese.

She hasn't stopped purring since she's been here. There's just this endless rumble coming from her, even when she looks like she's asleep. I've had pregnant cats here before and never noticed this sort of purring until the onset of labour. She really doesn't look like she's far enough along to be that close to labour.

She's lashed out twice tonight for no apparent reason, on one occasion crossing the room to do it. I don't know if this is her normal temperament or if it's related to some sort of distress. The combination of aggression and excessive purring is worrying me.

Yes. Purring in itself may be to please herself in.
But leashing out?

Whom did she teached lessons and why? Had she good causes?

It sounds to me like she might be closer to delivery than you think. How is she doing now?
