I need to change my colonies feeding spot and time, because of idiot neighbors. Have you done this before? Any suggestion how to make the transition? I really have no idea how to go about this.

How Do You Go About Moving The Colonies Feeding Spot And Time?

I had to move a feeding station years ago from a spot in the back of my yard to my deck. My cats were always close by when it was feeding time so I just went outside and shook the cat food container. I placed some of the food on the steps of my deck and just made a trail with bowls to the new area. I then had to go inside and just watch and wait. The cats did come up to eat yet they were nervous. It took about a week for the cats to acclimate.

Thanks Shadowsrescue, I think I will move the feeding time later and later at first. So when I start moving the food closer there won't be as many people around. Some of the cats do not go over to the other area at all, they are scared to go through the alleyway. But hopefully if they are hungry enough they will find the food.
