I just noticed this thread. At least Vega politely sat on the edge of the bed.

I put on the mattress protector, went out to get the sheets, and came back to a big old 16 lb. cat in the middle of the bed hoping I couldn't reach him.



Then he had to help with the sheets, too, of course. Thanks, Ozzy.
