Help!

Hey everyone, i am just a little concerned for my recently neutered kitten. She is 6 months and she got neutering done yesterday. Its been 35 hours now and she still seems so down, keeps on meowing, i even have her her pain relief medicine. I was told she will go back to her normal self in 24 hours. Can someone please help with this? Also, its my first time with a kitten which is why i dont have much knowledge about what happens after neutering

Hi. All cats are different, so some will react to anesthesia more so - and, longer - than others. Also, if the pain meds are bit strong for her, that too could cause unusual behavior. Are you using any kind of restraint, e.g.; a cone or a onsie? That will also drive some cats crazy. Is she eating/drinking/using the litter box OK?

It wouldn't hurt to call the vet and ask them about how she is behaving as well, just to see what they think.

Aimen0409 , How is the kitten at this point? Did you contact your Vet or has she gotten somewhat better?
