Help.....

Hi. I'm Andrea and a new mom to 2 kitties. They are brother and sister and 6 months old now. My boy is very affectionate to me. He walks all over me and follows me around. He also has to suck on my clothes which I find strange. Why does he do this? She seems like a normal kitty. Is there something I can do to get him over this?

He may have been taken from mom a little too young.  It could also be a self-comforting behavior.  He may never get over it but making sure he's comfortable and content may help.  I've often said the person who invents a pacifier for cats is going to be rich!

Don't let him suck on wool or other fabric that can "shred."  He'll ingest pieces of fabric or threads that might block his intestines.

One of my cats like to suckle on a blanket while she kneads on me. I guess it gives them comfort!
