Help! Pregnant cat, are these milk scabs?? Is she going into labor soon?

Hello,

My cat is pregnant and seems quite far, big bulging belly. She has what looks like white scabs on her nipples… could this be milk drying? Not to be graphic but when I squeeze no actual milk appears to be coming out, but she has lost hair around all of her nipples.
Mild nesting behaviors, but overall not much change in behavior or appetite. Anyone have any ideas how much longer or if this is indeed milk scans?

Yes, it is dried milk. Please do not squeeze her nipples though. Full milk will come in once the kittens come. Also, cat nipples get very dry as they enlarge, and later from suckling, so use bag balm, coconut oil, or olive oil regularly on them to prevent chapping. All are non-toxic.

It sounds like she is nearing the end, but it could be another week.
