My kitten is 7 month old and he was neutered around 3 weeks ago.
He has been acting really weird ever since he had the surgery.
He would come upstairs and meow at my door at 3am to wake me up.
He never did this before the surgery: he always waited until 7 or 8 when he could hear our footsteps.
But this is not even an issue compared to what he did these last few days.
I wake up in the morning just to find his poop on the floor a few steps away from his litter box, everyday, at the same spot!
He definitely does not hate the litter brand we are using now, because he would still go in to pee and poop during the day.
We have 2 litter boxes placed side by side for him and I clean up the stools everyday. So I wouldn't think he did this because of lacking space to poop in the boxes.
He was already litter-trained when he first arrived at ours, so it was never a problem.
I tried to tell him not to do this by pointing at the poop while yelling at him. But he didn't seem to care at all.
I really don't know what the reason is and what to do to stop it.
