I've just joined, so hopefully I'm doing this right.
We have 13 cats, (a lot, I know!) 9 of which are farm cats, although they still have one room of the house they can come into, and relax in.
Of the others, 2 are inside/outside cats, and 2 are fully indoors.
Hazel is one of the farm cats, but she was originally a completely feral cat. She came to us when we had a rat plague, and I started feeding her.
Slowly, she became more trusting, until the wonderful day when she claimed me as her very own human. All the other cats except one, are either her children or grandchildren, as we had a bit of an out of control breeding season. (it is all under control now, with them all being de-sexed)
We were saved from rats and mice, and love having the cats around, and Hazel is so special to me, as she came when I needed her the most.
I have also saved and re-homed another litter of feral kittens since then.
One of our indoor cats has cancer, so we might not have her much longer...I will miss her so much
I love cats, and hope to talk to more people about them! (also, I was feeling bored, so thought I would meet some new people. lol

You've come to the right place if you're looking for fellow cat lovers. Wonderful story about Hazel, and my heart goes out to you with the little one with cancer, that's so tough.
