20180924_214317.jpg Mizzy who is just 7mths has found out she can jump.. climb.. These are cabinets that area above the oven and fridge. She won't stop jumping up there. I've covered the fridge with stuff. She then bangs open a cabinet door and jumps ho that way. I've tried redirecting and spraying (which I know is bad), but she keeps doin it. Any helpful ideas???

It isn’t attractive but you can use cardboard boxes or just cardboard to block the areas between the cabinet and the ceiling, or the top of the fridge and upper cabinet. Since she likes up high places, make sure she has a tall cat tree or some high shelves she is allowed on. One of my girls loved to perch on the top of doors

I feel you. My cat didn't discover the top of a cabinet even after three years, not until last week. Now I've had to put her unused K&H cat house and a cardboard box atop that cabinet to dissuade her from jumping up there again. susanm9006 susanm9006 is right, to try using ugly boxes to block the area. It looks terrible but that cabinet is a no-no location... :nono: Maybe she'll forget about it in time and I can take the "blocks" down again.

20180925_160733.jpg 20180925_161031.jpg 20180925_161005.jpg So the first pic is all the lovely things that litter above the cabinets. The whole walkway is covered. As is the fridge. She gingerly weaves her way around. The other 2 pics are of the top of a loft bed which she loves to climb and perch.

Oh my, you just have to hope that she never learns the drop and break game. One thing you can try is setting a motion activated Halloween item on top - something that wiggles and howls or talks when it detects motion. That might give her enough of a fright that she stops being interested in jumping up there.
