For New Years I grilled some chicken thighs.
No salt or pepper, but was soaked over night in a Kau Yuk sauce.
It's a chinese red marinade used for meat and poultry.
Kind of a sweet sour flavor.
Cat really likes it.
I give her only the white inside meat.
Any idea if it's good or bad for her????

What are the ingredients in the sauce? The inside of the meat might be ok but there's always a chance the meat has soaked up enough of the sauce for it to permeate the entire piece. I wouldn't risk giving marinated meats to a cat. It's best to just plain grill / cook chicken without any salt, pepper, sauce, etc and offer a small amount to the cat. Many cats will eat a lot of things that taste good to them but it may not be good for them at all, even toxic in small amounts.

Is grilled chicken OK????
Doctor put her on Hill's KD diet.
He said her kidney is OK, but the reading was higher than a year before.
She is now 15yo
Very fussy eater.
Won't eat wet food.
Good thing she'll eat the KD food.

Some plain grilled chicken (unseasoned) is fine for an occasional treat or snack but not as a main part of their diet as it does not provide all the nutrients cats need.
