I found this in the garden..

I've taken a picture of it sitting on top of one of the leaves that produced the 'babies', and another with the 'mother leaf' on it's own, sitting amongst the greenery of the garden.

I just thought it was so pretty:

It's cool how they do that! What are you going to do with it?

Oh, that's so pretty! What is its name?
I don't know!  And I can't find a picture on the net to compare it to.  Tomorrow I'll go out and take a photo of the whole plant, to see if anyone else knows.

Each little 'baby' will just drop off and form another plant.

I have heaps of them in the garden, so I'll probably put the babies in tiny little pots and give them to friends and  students.

OK, I've done my research. They're the same family @Natalie_ca, but these are kalanchoe fedtschenkoi (lavender scallops)

They don't take much care as I have very sandy soil and they love that.  You can really only kill them with kindness! If you keep them small they're a very beautiful succulent.

I do know that they can become a nuisance, but they are very easily removed - very shallow roots.  I tend to compost what I remove so that they don't end up at the tip and spread their little hearts out.
