found a slight lump on my lil 9F cat

hi, i was petting my cat and no noticed a slight lump but i’m not sure if this is normal. she’s not letting me touch it either. can someone please check if any of your other cats have it too? i circled the area in the Pickture

With lumps, your best bet is for a vet to evaluate it. Lumps can range from almost nothing that self resolves in a few days to more serious issues that require vet care to resolve. My girl recently had an lump near her shoulder. I called my vet and scheduled an appointment a few days out. Her lump self resolved after about 3 to 4 days so I canceled the appointment. However, I've also had the serious level that required surgical intervention and medications where quick action can mean a huge difference in outcome.
