I love cats, have grown up with them... but this cat has me hot. There is a stray who particularly likes jumping on our window screens when my inside cat is on the window perch. Basically tries to attack her from the outside. (yes I'm aware there's a window there). It upsets my cat, that's her window .. her spot. I don't want any harm to this outside cat, I just want it to move along and leave my cat alone. My husband wants to feed it because he feels bad for it. Normally I would too, but my feelings for it are becoming ill due to my cat. It also doesn't help that it's usually my bedroom window and at night. I called animal control and asked for advice, there response was well we can set a trap for it, but once it's trapped it's your responsibility?

I agree with your husband - feed the cat. It will settle him down, and perhaps eventually allow you to pick him up and get him to a rescue to be scanned for a chip or adopted.
