Expired Gababentin

Has anyone on here ever used expired gababentin
I need to give my cat something for pain til get to vet tomorrow for what the vet said looked like an ulcer or tooth issue or both..from the picture I sent them
The gababentin is like over a yr old or little more..yr and half
I would have asked the vet but I forgot I even had it
It was initially prescribed for snowball for pain last yr
Any thoughts

If I felt I needed to use something for pain relief.....IF it had been sealed in the original/comparable vial/container (~airtight), and if it had been kept away from light, I would not hesitate to use it.

Whether/not it would control the pain - well, that's a different question.

Oh I would use out of date pain meds
If I didn't have nothing else
And yea may not work..that much
But not sure about cats...hes sleeping now

if he isnt showing signs of pain don't give the gabapentin.
