I've cycled through many different migraine medications, the one that worked the best for me was Midrin but even with insurance it was $150/bottle so not at all sustainable!
Are you aware there is a generic for Midrin which may be cheaper with your insurance?

I believe I was getting the generic, and my insurance did "cover" it, but they covered all of $3 of it. My explanation was that since Midrin contained things like acetaminophen that the insurance companies believed you could just take Tylenol or create your own cocktail.

It's been a few years though since I've even looked into getting it so maybe it would be different. I just take whatever I have available and utilize ice packs and just kind of deal with it. I've had migraines for over 15 years now so unless they are really, truly awful I can typically just push through.
