When over 150 dogs who had been for walks on the beach along the northeast coast of England were reported to have contracted a mysterious illness, investigators were led to believe that the cause of their sickness was from something exclusively in the sand or sea.

I read it may be sewage waste related due to unsafe disposal. Though, that would not likely suddenly appear but be more of a longer term issue. Unless previous instances were unreported and when people hear about a case are more likely to chime in with their own story.

Likely, similar to what is happening in Florida, along with agricultural run off and other waste disposal that's killing the ocean flora that the manatees eat and thus killing the manatees. Manatees, besides being wonderful animals in their own right, are a large part of Fl tourism. Some people need to learn to think about tomorrow.
