Egyptian mau mix?

does she look like an egyptian mau mix to anyone? my family members are convinced she is.

Maybe. But observe, being a somewhat look alike isnt nowhere the same as be an egyptian mau, or even a mix.

Unless you do live in Egypt or at least, in the Arabian peninsula, where they do have quite a few fo the natural Arabian mau...

Bot these breeds are verry rare outside these countries, while they are fairly common landrace cats there.

I would describe your cat as a blue spotted tabby and white domestic shorthair. Blue is the "cat fancy" term for gray.

It's not likely that your cat would be related to the Egyptian Mau breed, as that breed is quite uncommon. Note that blue tabby is also not an accepted color in the Egyptian Mau breed, and since the dilute (blue) gene is recessive, both parents of your cat would have had to carry dilute.

Most cats are not any particular breed, and are also not "mixes" of breeds, unlike dogs; the vast majority of cats are simply domestic cats without any breed ancestry. That's okay, though... domestic shorthairs are great cats!
