I have 2 elderly cats. They are friendly but will not be handled well abd can not be trapped.
I put diatomaceous earth in their food abd on their fur. I know i can't put too close to their face. I don't think spraying them is possible as they are easily freaked out.
I can pet them and rubbed ones ear today and thought if i had sonethimg on my hand... I just don't know what.
Anything i can do for their itchy ears? Im afraid because of their age of any chemicals. Thanks

Brew up a cup of chamomile tea. Let it cool. Add a teaspoon of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. You can use a cotton ball or a makeup round or paper towel (something absorbent) to soak up some of this solution and gently press some of it out into the inside top of the ear. Let the cats shake it on in.

It's #2 on this page of vet approved home remedies with a little tip on how to apply it with help from Krista who never wanted anything in her ears. (Who does?)
