Dry skin on paw

My three year old Maine coon has some dry skin on one of his paw pads. I noticed it today when I was trimming the excess fur off. Anyone know what it is? I ordered some “paw butter” to moisturizer it.

You could rub a little Vaseline on it, try to stop him licking it but if he does, a small amount wont hurt.

Probably just dry skin. Keep an eye on it. If the skin keeps peeling or the paw becomes red and irritated, you'll need to take your cat to the vet to determine if there is a skin condition is going on.
