My cat has a small patch about a little longer than half inch but smaller than inch of just dry hard scab that just flakes off if touched on the outer back right ear. It doesn't seem to bother her at all to be honest. Its just like a human scab texture sort. Should I be rushing to the vet? Should I be worried? Is this something common with indoor cats? She does go out on the balcony from time to time for about an hour and comes back in. Is there a home remedy or over the counter medicine I should try before panicking? I've attached some photos.please I could use your knowledge I can not afford a $60 vet office visit bill + medication

Hi Cheetah714 Cheetah714 and welcome to TCS :)
Unfortunately you really do need a vet's opinion.. it could be cat dermatitis/allergy, sometimes this can occur from a flea or or other insect bite.. there are many viables and we just can't diagnose.
How long has it been there and is it growing in area?

IF it is actually shrinking and getting better, you can continue to watch it. Cats can get snagged on all sorts of things...you know how they are about getting into stuff. However, mani mani is very right...if this has been there for a good while, and if it has gotten larger, you're going to have to see a vet.
