Does Your Cat Make This Sound While Playing?

So my cat (Male, 12/yo) does this weird/adorable thing when he plays with wand toys. It's huffing/grunting/snorting, and it is hilarious. I have never heard another cat do this and I've been around many in my lifetime! So I'm just curious if I have just raised a weirdo or if it's fairly common.

Seven cats plus a few fosters that have lived with me and I have not hear that particular noise before. Current cat just hisses and howls at her toys before attacking them.

Haha it is so hilarious! Sometimes he’ll just let out one big huff and then pounce. It really is adorable lol. Thank you for responding!

I’ve never heard it before either and I’ve been around probably 20 cats in my lifetime between my own/family/friends and my neighbor is a foster. It’s so bizarre. Thank you for responding!
