Stool most always correlates to the color of the food, so I would venture to guess all is well. But I am curious as to why you are asking in the first place. Something has changed?

If what you are worried about is blood, then you need to let us know that and provide more details.

yes blood is what I'm worried about

and his kibble is a dark brown

but his stool is usally a lighter color so it just concerned me a bit

but I may have overracted a bit given everyone's response

I haven't noticed any other change in his health or behaviour

thanks for helping me too

A simple solution would be to collect a stool sample (litter and all) and take it to the vet to check for blood. Call your vet and ask if they would accept such a sample (most do) and if they do, they can check within minutes to see if the stool contains blood. You can go from there...
