What are wine gums?
Wine gums used to be made with wine ages ago. They are kind of like jujubes but more flavourful - real fruit juice rather than artificial flavourings. If you want to try them, look for Maynard's brand.
Actually I don't believe they were ever made with wine.  Wikipedia has a couple of anecdotal suggestions for why they were called that:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine_gum

And I think very few of them have real fruit juice.

Sorry....

Wiki isn't the authority on everything. The information is only as good as the people who contribute to add content to it, which anyone can do.

Wine gums did in fact have wine in them when they were first created.  However, the modern versions no longer do.  The originals back in the late 1800's or early 1900's were made with fermented wine and gelatin, likely from pigs.
