I'm marinading some chicken for tomorrow's dinner. I've made it before and it's soooo yummy! Here is the recipe.

1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey (I don't usually have honey in the house, so I use maple syrup)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of crushed garlic
1 teaspoon ground ginger
black pepper to taste

Put chicken pieces into a large zip lock bag. Add all ingredients. Smoosh around until everything is well mixed. Press the air out of the bag and zip. Leave in fridge for 6 hours or overnight. Grill.

Boil the left over marinade in a sauce pan for a few minutes (add some more juice or some water if needed) and serve on the side with grilled chicken.

Thanks for sharing! I love grilled food. You gave me a new marinade to try out.

You can add a bit of crushed cloves. But I am allergic to them, plus I can't stand the taste or smell of cloves, so I leave them out.

I don't eat chicken, but my husband does and it sounds like something he would really like!
