I watched his show Love My Pitbull last night. I know his training methods are controversial, I don't agree with some of what I have seen him do, but I do like that he has been an advocate for the bully breeds and to a lesser extent Rottweilers. He has always used a pitbull as his own main dog, first Daddy and now Junior.
He presented a realistic view of the dog if they get what they need from an owner. He did admit that because of breeding they are more prone to animal aggression but not human aggression and as a high energy determined working dog they need the right home. I think he is being a bit melodramatic when he calls what is being done to them genocide but they certainly aren't treated the way other breeds are.
He is now becoming very active in stopping breed specific legislation.
