For some reason I have only Rocket in a tree photos. I am going out on a limb (pun intended) and saying that it is because Link is horrible at climbing and Fury is too quick.

And yes, for some reason she climbs head first down things. She tends to do this one arm twist when she's about five feet from the ground to end up tail down. Scares me half to death every time that she is going to dislocate her shoulder. When she comes down the bird aviary she sometimes falls in the maneuver and ends up in the bushes.

Just to add, Link famously jumped over a lap and ended up face first on the floor. He also is in the habit of standing on his hind legs, putting is front paws on the surface he wants to go on, then jumping just enough to get up on the chair, couch etc. Him going up trees is absolutely hilarious.

Nightfury is up the tree before you even knew he was climbing. Link, usually chasing him, will take a huge running leap at the tree and end up six inches off the ground. Usually looking very proud of himself. He then ends up doing a shimmy crawl type move up the tree until he gets to a branch he can stand on. It really is very funny. Luckily we have three easy climb trees leading to the roof for him with short trunks and long arching branches.
