This is Misty. I rescued her a number of times from my rapscallions.

There may be a thread long buried of Cats on the “nip” somewhere, but I’ve yet to come across it. Is it time for a new one?

I’ve never had any success growing catnip. :(

Come to think of it, I have attracted enough cats as it is. :D

I make some toys for my gang tho. I get these socks for cheap, stuff some catnip in the toe, tie it, and cut the rest off. They love it.

Brilliant! I bet the gang loves them and has endless hours of wide wild eyed fun with those.

I'm not that good at growing my own nip, but someone gave my gang some very potent cat-nip toys for Christmas.

Grins! Absolutely delightful! There’s something utterly endearing about cats on the nip.

I don’t have a green thumb, hence I’m quite proud of my accomplishment. I once tried this years ago living in California where there was a massive group of colonies. I brought it home, put it out on the porch ledge, watered it, went to work. Received a text message from my partner at the time saying he couldn’t park in the drive because it, the front yard and the neighbor’s was covered in cats.

This once I have inside on a tall stump next to the window where it can get a dose of sunlight and shade throughout the day. I water it every other day and clip any leaves that look bedraggled. Those get buried in their kibbles or added to the green disc.

Where does this beautiful torby come from ?
He's a regular visitor ; at first I thought he was a stray cat, because he seemed always hungry and very shy and skittish. I started feeding him, dewormed and deflead him and I was even planning to take him in. I named him Alpha.
Unfortunately Missy didn't share my love for him ; she chased him virulently from the garden every time they met.
Only recently I discovered that he has a home and a mom (an old lady) not too far away from where I live. She knows that he's begging for food elsewhere, and she's okay with it.
I guess the catnip must be greener on my side.
