I have a slight concern about my cat, Rikka. For the past few days, I noticed she won't stop squinting. (Reference the pictures for an example). I (gently) tried to see if her eyes would open a bit wider, but she was stiff and wouldn't let me. For reference, she had some minor eye problems when we first adopted her. (Discharge, eye goop, etc.) Should I see the vet about this? Or is it simply because of the marks on her face? She got into a brawl with my other kitten, which is why she has a few wounds on her cheeks and nose.

If it’s been like this for “the past few days” then I’d suggest a trip to vet to have her eyes checked. It could be signs of infection or maybe injury. At least you’d get a proper diagnosis sooner than waiting around to guess the cause of the squinting.

If she has scratches on her face, it's possible her eye was also scratched or she has some kind of debris in her eye. I'd definitely get her to the vet.
